Join us this Friday, April 17th, from 7:00p - Midnight in the Lansing Creeper Trail Park for our first Star Party in partnership with Ashe Dark Sky! So far, the weather is looking clear for a night of star gazing and celebrating the first International Dark Sky Week in Lansing.
Ashe Dark Sky Coalition representatives will be there with telescopes to help guide us on a tour of the night sky. It will be dark so bring flashlights (preferably red, but cellophane will be provided otherwise to help keep our eyes adjusted). Bring warm clothing, blankets and chairs, snacks and drinks are welcome (NO ALCOHOL). You are also welcome to bring your own binoculars and telescopes. The bathrooms will be open for use.
