Beautification

Chair: Rene Shuford

The GLAD Beautification Committee was formed in 2020 with the goals of:

  • Instilling Pride in our Community

  • Creating a Welcoming Atmosphere

  • Encouraging People to Stop and Play

We are working with the town on ways to improve parking, add streetscape improvements  such as medians, plantings, and additional sidewalks, repair and/or replace signage, and work with Keep Ashe Beautiful and the Adopt-A-Highway Program to Keep Lansing Beautiful. If you would like to help us, we could use donations of seeds, bulbs, or other plant materials, paint, or anything else you think would help improve the appearance of the town. You can also volunteer to pick up litter or help with our projects. Just contact us!

Grant Writing
